Barclay Sales was incorporated in 1971, and began as a one-man agency with a smile, a briefcase, a part time secretary and an answering service. What was key then, and remains so now, is our focus on relationships and customer service.
In 1982, at the urging of one of our manufacturing customers, Barclay Sales began to warehouse on consignment. From the purchase of our first 3,000-square foot building, including office space, we have expanded into the multiple facilities we operate out of today, including our 28,000-square foot corporate headquarters facility in British Columbia that includes 4,000-square feet of office and showroom space.
Today, the people who run our business, own our business, and our commitment to long-standing relationships and excellent customer service date back to the day our founder started the company.
