Incorporated in January 1971 Barclay Sales began as a one man agency with a smile, a briefcase, a part time secretary and an answering service.
In 1982, following the urging of one of the manufacturers, they began to warehouse on consignment. After the purchase of their first Warehouse, a 3,000-sq. ft building including office space, Barclay Sales Ltd. has expanded into the facilities they operate out of today.
The majority of the products they sell ship direct from the factories they represent to their customers. However, with the economy today, wholesalers are carrying less inventory, thus creating a need for local factory inventory.
Technology and change are easily adopted by the young eager staff at Barclay Sales. New systems to improve communications with the manufacturer and the customers are continually be implemented and improved.
